To promote women’s empowerment and leadership participation, the Philippine Commission on Women invited the recently announced Chief of the Women and Children Protection Center (WCPC) of the Philippine National Police, Police Brigadier General Portia Manalad, to share her experiences as one of many women in a field dominated by men. She also discussed the services of the WCPC.
