In line with Library and Information Services Month, the National Library of the Philippines was invited as a guest to discuss the benefits of reading in promoting literacy and improved mental and analytical skills and its contribution to promoting new and different perspectives and women’s empowerment. Also discussed during the program is the women’s participation in library science and their impact on promoting literacy through reading and learning proper comprehension skills.
