The Commission on Population (POPCOM) tackled the concept of gender equality and women’s empowerment in a relationship and family. The Kalalakihang Tapat sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyon sa Pamilya or KATROPA Program and their services to male partners and community outreach were highlighted, as well as the importance of respecting and understanding the gender roles in the relationship/family.
