Transforming Government to Think and Act GAD: A Handbook on Gender and Development Training was developed in an effort to provide GAD trainers with conceptual handles and innovative approaches to GAD application. The Handbook is a tool to help agencies design their GAD training program and conduct training sessions. It has four parts. Parts 1-3 are included in Book 1 while Part 4 or Gender 101 comprises Book 2 of the Handbook.

This trainer’s guide provides core messages with insights on how to establish concepts, and gender-sensitive methodologies and a “little trainers” who offers suggestions and significant ideas relative to the conduct of gender sensitivity training, gender analysis, and gender responsive planning. Case studies presented in other volumes were summarized in this compilation.
