Transforming Government to Think and Act GAD: A Handbook on Gender and Development Training was developed in an effort to provide GAD trainers with conceptual handles and innovative approaches to GAD application. The Handbook is a tool to help agencies design their GAD training program and conduct training sessions. It has four parts. Parts 1-3 are included in Book 1 while Part 4 or Gender 101 comprises Book 2 of the Handbook.

This RSFW reviews and analyzes the progress that was made between 2001 and 2003 using the Framework Plan for Women (FPW) as guide. It focused on three areas of concern: Women’s economic empowerment, women girl’s human rights, and gender-responsive governance.
