This report depicts the plight of Filipino women, 26 years after the declaration of the International Women’s Year in 1975 by the United Nations. It highlights the progress made on key areas affecting the lives of Filipino women, at the same time that it calls attention to the remaining issues and concerns that would be addressed in the next three years by the administration then.
