The National Advocacy and Communication Plan was formulated in response to the challenges faced in implementing the Republic Act 9262 as a primary preventive mechanism to reduce the developmental and human rights in impact of gender-based violence against women. This national plan was drafted through review of relevant documents, reports as well as advocacy and communication materials produced in the last five years. A stakeholders’ communication planning workshop and close consultation with the IACVAWC secretariat and its technical working committee has also been conducted.
