This case study showcases the journey of DOLE’s Occupational Safety and Health Center towards extending its services to microenterprises and the informal sector. Through the interventions of the GREAT Women Project, it recognized the need to address the occupational safety and health issues of workers in the informal sector through various interventions such as policy advocacy, training, database and tools development, among others.
