The GEWE Plan supports the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022 as well as the Philippine Plan for Gender-Responsive Development 1995-2025. It is the government’s guide and key reference in formulating Gender and Development plans and budgets and is expected to move the country forward in achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment in all spheres of life.
