Feminist Peace Activism 1915 and 2010: Are We Nearly There Yet?

This article focuses on the concepts of human security and positive peace. It compares the activists’ vision on a gendered peace with principles underlying UN Security Council Resolution 1325 and considers whether the barriers and obstacles to women’s participation in formal peace negotiations have been overcome.
