Review of Gender Equality in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management

The research is primarily a review of literature on gender and disaster risk reduction management (DRRM) in the Philippines. It highlights the discussion of national and international standards and laws on gender and DRRM shaping the practice of DRRM in the country, together with corresponding interventions and situations in selected recent disasters.
