Sharing a commitment to gender equality, women’s empowerment and the well-being of women and girls, in 2010 UNFPA and the Asia-Pacific Women, Faith and Development Alliance (AP-WFDA) 2 collaborated on this initiative to identify and document the efforts of selected faith-based organizations to address violence against women and girls in the Pacific, South Asia and South-East Asia sub-regions.
