Forward for Equality: UN CSW69 Philippine Delegation Reports Back to the Nation

“Forward for Equality” is a special feature written by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) about the Philippine Delegation’s participation in the 69th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UN CSW) held from March 10 to 21, 2025 at the UN Headquarters in New York City. After the two week session, the Philippine Delegation reported back to the nation during a feedback forum and press conference conducted on April 3, 2025 in Manila.

Headed by PCW Chairperson Ermelita V. Valdeavilla, the UN CSW69 Philippine Delegation is also composed of representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), New York Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the UN (NYPM), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), Commission on Human Rights (CHR), and Plan International Philippines.
