Hapag, 2023 – Women’s Role in Society

As society expects women to fulfill traditional roles, Amanda tries to break free. Growing up, she struggled to express herself, and her parents had embedded in her the idea that women must perform household chores, but that didn’t stop her from pursuing her dreams. As her daughter, Gab, encounters dismay in her work, where prejudices about women’s abilities persist, Amanda tries to let her understand that she shouldn’t stop there. Women’s worth isn’t defined by society’s beliefs and expectations. In GSIS, both men and women are given equal opportunities. The GSIS promotes gender equality and supports career advancement for all genders. In fact, most executives at the GSIS are female.
