Language, media, and culture play an essential role in transforming traditional notions on sex and gender and in promoting a positive and empowering view of women, men, and persons of diverse SOGIESC. Designed to promote gender sensitivity, this special webinar session endeavors to promote gender sensitivity in the workplace and a keen interest in consuming cultural and media products that are non-discriminatory to women. It enables the importance of gender-fair language in day-to-day discourse. Moreover, it aims to develop an understanding of the standards on gender-fair communication and how they are applied in creating gender-responsive content for various audiences.
