2021 GAD Budget Report

This report covers agencies with submitted FY 2021 GAD Plans and Budgets (GPBs) and FY 2021 GAD Accomplishment Reports (ARs) through the Gender Mainstreaming Monitoring System (GMMS) 2 as of May 15, 2022. It does not include the GPBs and GAD ARs of local water districts and local government units.

The report shows the agencies with the highest GAD budget and actual expenditures and percentages vis-a-vis their total budget appropriation based on the Geneal Appropriation Act. It also indicates agencies with the highest budget and expenditures specifically for Client-focused programs/activities/projects (PAPs), Organization-focused PAPs, and GAD-Attributed Programs/Projects.

The latter refers to the major or flagship programs/projects of agencies with high GAD budget attribution based on the assessment results using the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG). The HGDG is a gender analysis tool to determine the level of gender-responsiveness of agencies’ programs or projects. The result of the HGDG assessment provides the basis for determining the estimated budget of a particular program or project that may be attributed to GAD.
