This National Advocacy and Communication Plan was formulated in response to challenges faced in implementing RA 9262 as a primary preventive mechanism to reduce the developmental and human rights impact of gender-based violence against women. This national plan was drafted through a review of relevant documents, reports as well as advocacy and communication materials produced in the last five years; a stakeholders’ communication planning workshop, and close consultation with the Inter-Agency Council on Violence Against Women and their Children (IACVAWC) secretariat and its technical working committee.
